Posted by Richard Robello on June 25, 2008As I reported back in May, the AGENT47 sponsored Mustangs have been tearing up the tracks in the American Iron series. After running sub-record qualifying times that first weekend, Team AGENT47 with lead driver Ryan Walton and wingman Andy Bowman swept the weekend’s racing at Willow Springs Raceway. #54 Ryan Walton took pole positions both days and broke one of the longest standing AI West lap records with a new 1.30.600!! Much to do with the AGENT47 suspension and setup and excellent weather conditions. AGENT47 Team owner, Corey Weber commented, “the weekend could not have produced better results.”

Since Agent 47’s new SLA was installed in Ryan Walton’s Fox, Ryan has won the following 6 races and set new lap records at 2 of the 3 tracks he raced at. In his fourth consecutive win, Ryan broke the Buttonwillow lap record with a 1:59.2 in 95 degree temps. Andy Bowman also laid down some sub record lap times; doing so with a poorly running engine to boot.

AGENT47 is now taking orders for the new FOX SLAS but delivery is currently running about 4-6 weeks due to popular demand.
