Cbad Cars at HRE

This month, the monthly meet of hot rods, muscle cars, Euro tuners and exotics at the Carlsbad Outlet Mall was relocated (for this month only) to HRE’s headquarters in Vista, CA. The sun didn’t bother to show up but everyone else did, as the parking lot quickly field with a wide diversity of fine rides. American muscle was represented by the usual large numbers of Mustangs, Corvettes, Vipers and even a few Ford GTs as well as some other notables; whereas some highly tuned Porsches, BMWs, and Mercedes dominated the European market. Not to be outdone a pair of fine EVOs came out to show off what Japan has to offer. Of course you can’t have a car meet here in SoCal without the exotics and I think it was best said by the decals on a uniquely colored Viola Ophelia Murcielago, that these were indeed some “Sexy Whips.”

I would like to thank Dave (Super D) for organizing this event and everyone at HRE for allowing us to use their facility, as well as providing everyone with delicious breakfast treats and drinks and for the incredible tour and detailed description of the process behind making such incredible wheels. It truly is a fascinating process.

Afterwards, some of my Mustang buddies and myself took off for a little cruise down the coast, turning many heads along the way, and on into Del Mar to have brunch at Milton’s. I definitely had a blast today and I hope to see everyone again next month, back at our normal location in Carlsbad. Thank you everyone that made today a fun success.
